Bathing lake and water sports around Damüls

The mountain summer in Damüls can get quite hot despite the location at over 1,400 metres. Your bathing day in Damüls-Fontanella

Take a walk to Lake Seewaldsee. From Fontanella/Säge you will reach the lake within ca. 35 minutes via a slightly acclivitous and then again inclining quiet asphalt road. The walk leads past the Parzelle Garlitt buildings and the further to the Seewaldseetobel ravine.

Cross the ravine and soon you will reach the Parzelle Seewald yards. Only residents are allowed to drive here by car, which means you will be able to enjoy incredible silence and peace when you come for a swim in the free Valais landscape. At the border of the forest you will find your destination of your short hike, the small lake, idyllic and cool. The wonderful area with playground and BBQ facility invites you to stay.

A mountain bike tour to Lake Seewaldsee

The Damüls-Fontanella-Seewaldsee tour is perfect for a cycling trip with the whole family. After you have exhaust yourself on your bike, recreation is waiting for you at the lake. On your way back to Mittagspitze you can mostly just drift with hardly any effort.

A very special way of transport

You can also reach the natural bathing lake in Fontanella very comfortably with the small, blue stopping train. A very special adventure for families with children and very convenient for getting all your swimming gear and toys to the lake.
